The Alpha Chapter of Gamma Phi Omega Fraternity Incorporated encompasses the campuses of Temple University, University of Pennsylvania, and the Community College of Philadelphia. The first pledge line to complete their membership process to “Lead The Way” was called the “First Edition.” This first line, known as “Rampions,” began their journey into Gamma Phi Omega Fraternity Inc. on the campus of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania under the leadership of Brother Kevin “Petey” Good. These young brothers continued on in their roles now known as “Scorpions,” bringing the light of Gamma Phi Omega Fraternity Incorporated one step closer.

Becoming a member of Gamma Phi Omega Fraternity Incorporated not only encompasses the intake process but also includes participation in community service as well as college actives. We give thanks and our love and support to those three men who completed the process in March of 1971. They are:

• Larry Davis
• Charles McCoy
• Rozwell Young

These men completed their college education at Temple University and became productive men in their respective fields.

• Rozwell Young went on to star in the theater, and credited roles on television and movies.
• Larry Davis and Charles McCoy held leadership positions in their field of study’
